Learning tools. Tools
for analysis, discussion, and planning you may use in class, professional
development, and in your own practice as a teacher.
  - Healthy
            Environments and School. Activity
            Tool 7-3 asks respondents to
rate the degree to which the physical environments of their school
and a specific classroom are considered healthy and discuss
the implications for how students act and learn?

  - Segregated
and inclusive schools use of space. Participants
may use Activity Tool 7-4 to evaluate a school's inclusive or segregated
            use of space.

  - Designing
          my inclusive classroom. Participants
will review the chart from the book in a handout: Towards Universal Design
      of Learning
    Environments
    (Activity
Tool 7-5) and then sketch out some
ideas for organizing an inclusive classroom.

  - Special needs analysis for learning. Use Activity
Tool 7-6 to have participants consider students with various types of special
    needs. Have them identify
needs and issues, strategies to deal with these, and ways such strategies
might be beneficial to all students in the class.
