WHOLE SCHOOLING!!

EXCELLENCE AND EQUITY
To Build Inclusive and Democratic Societies

Welcome to the Home Page of the Whole Schooling Consortium.

Whole Schooling is an approach to developing schools in which all children flourish in engaging, inclusive classrooms. We believe that good schools should be founded on research-based practices that support the development of the whole child, what we call the 8 Principles of Whole Schooling. Dr. Tim Loreman, Professor at Concordia University College, and Dr. Michael Peterson, formerly Professor at Wayne State University in Detroit, are Co-Directors of the Consortium.

On this website you will find many resources related to using Whole Schooling principles and practices for school improvement and professional development. Please contact us if we can assist you in implementing Whole Schooling practices in your school or district.
